LAMBU Auto-Reviewer is a non-commercial, independently developed academic tool created by a student for personal academic use. It is not an official product of, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by, any school, university, educational institution, or commercial entity. This tool is made available solely to support student studying.

Because this feature transmits your file to a third-party AI service, your informed consent is legally and ethically required before any processing can occur. This disclosure is not a formality. Please read it in full before proceeding.

1. Third-Party Data Transmission. This feature is powered by Google Gemini Generative AI, a machine learning service operated independently by Google LLC (a U.S.-based entity). Upon initiating generation, your file is transmitted directly and exclusively from your browser to Google's Generative Language API servers via a client-side HTTP request. LAMBU's developer does not operate any server, proxy, or intermediary in this process. LAMBU does not intercept, receive, copy, store, log, index, or have access to your file or any of its contents at any point.

2. Cross-Border Data Transfer. By using this feature, your file will be transferred to and processed on servers located outside the Philippines, including servers operated by Google LLC in the United States and other jurisdictions. You expressly consent to this cross-border transfer of your data as required under Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations as enforced by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines. Once your data reaches Google's infrastructure, it is subject solely to Google LLC's own privacy framework and applicable U.S. law.

3. Google's Exclusive Control Over Your Data. After transmission, your file's handling, retention, and use are governed solely and exclusively by Google LLC's Privacy Policy, Google's Generative AI Additional Terms of Service, and Google's Prohibited Use Policy -- none of which LAMBU or its developer controls, negotiates, or can modify. You are strongly encouraged to review these at policies.google.com before proceeding. By continuing, you confirm you have had a reasonable opportunity to do so.

4. Prohibited Content -- Your Sole Responsibility. Consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and applicable international standards, you represent and warrant that the file you upload does not contain: (a) sensitive personal information as defined under Section 3(l) of RA 10173, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, health, education, financial status, religious beliefs, or government-issued identification numbers; (b) protected health information (PHI); (c) confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret business data belonging to any organization; (d) personally identifiable information of third parties who have not given their consent to such disclosure; or (e) any material you are not legally authorized to transmit to a third-party AI processing service. Any violation of this warranty is your sole and exclusive liability. The developer of LAMBU expressly disclaims all responsibility for any harm, penalty, or claim arising from prohibited uploads.

5. No Warranty on AI Output. All content generated by this feature is produced entirely by a third-party AI model and is provided "as is," for personal academic study only. The developer makes no representations or warranties of any kind -- express, implied, or statutory -- regarding the accuracy, completeness, correctness, reliability, or fitness for any purpose of any generated output. You assume full and sole responsibility for how you use, reproduce, share, or rely on any reviewer content. AI output must never be submitted as academic work, nor used as a substitute for authoritative academic, medical, legal, or professional sources.

6. Limitation of Liability. LAMBU is a non-commercial, independently developed student project provided free of charge with no warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted under Philippine law and applicable international law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this tool, including but not limited to privacy breaches caused by content you chose to upload, reliance on inaccurate AI output, data loss, or service unavailability due to third-party API downtime. Your use of this tool is entirely at your own risk.

7. No Institutional or Corporate Affiliation. This tool is an independent personal project. It is not an official product of, and does not carry the endorsement, authorization, or backing of, any educational institution or any of its offices. LAMBU is likewise not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any formal partnership with Google LLC. The Gemini API is used under Google's publicly available developer terms, which constitute an agreement solely between you and Google.

8. Local Device Storage. Separately from the file transmission described in Section 1, the reviewer content generated for you is cached locally in your own browser's storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) so you can resume a session without re-uploading. This local cache stays on your device, is never transmitted to the developer, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

9. Governing Law. This disclosure and your use of LAMBU Auto-Reviewer are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including but not limited to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000 (RA 8792). Any dispute arising from your use of this tool as against its developer shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts or regulatory bodies of the Philippines, including the National Privacy Commission where applicable. This clause does not apply to, and has no effect on, any separate agreement or dispute between you and Google LLC, which is governed exclusively by Google's own terms.
